100 Club Membership Rules

If you don’t have a number and would like to take part… your lucky number can be purchased for £2 per month, paid annually at a cost of £24 for inclusion in all 12 monthly draws. Lucky numbers can be purchased from any member of the village hall committee or from The Butchers Arms. 50% of all entry fees will make up the prize fund and the other 50% of the entry fees to the Balscote 100 Club will support the fundraising efforts for the Balscote Village Hall. More details and entry form are available on www.balscote.com. Draws take place on the last Sunday evening of each month in the Butchers Arms.
The Balscote 100 Club Promoted by the Balscote Village Hall Trust (Registered Charity No; 1085730)
1. The “numbers” will be issued on a first come, first served basis and will only be available from a member of the village hall committee or from The Butchers Arms.
2. Each “number” is deemed to have been reserved for one year commencing from the month of purchase. The fee for each number is £2 per month/£24 per year and will be paid annually in advance. Cheques for £24 should be made payable to “Balscote Village Hall”.
3. Individuals can join at anytime during the year having paid the appropriate fee and will be entered into the next monthly draw. To qualify for a monthly draw the member must have paid their fee covering the respective monthly draw to be able to participate.
4. Each number purchased will be entered into the monthly draw but can only win a maximum of one prize. eg; If drawn first, your number will not be re-entered for the second or third prizes.
5. There are no restrictions in the quantity of numbers purchased by applicants, but applicants must be over 16 years of age to participate.
6. The draws will take place normally on a monthly basis at The Butchers Arms on the last Sunday evening of each month. Any changes to this draw schedule will be published on www.balscote.com
7. A list of all members and their numbers will be published on www.balscote.com and on village noticeboards. The winners will be advised by email as soon as practicable after the draw has taken place and the results will be published on www.balscote.com, on village noticeboards and in the Balscote Newsletter.
8. All prize money paid out will be by cheque made payable to the registered “owner” of that draw number.
9. The total income collected will be split 50% towards the prize fund and 50% to village hall fundraising efforts.
10. 11. There will be a “Christmas Super Draw” in December where the prize fund will be doubled.
12. In the event of a dispute, the decision of the Balscote Village Hall Committee will be final.
13. The 100 Club will only operate if there are 50 or more numbers taken up.
